It’s Newsletter Monday, the 24th of September and Finn Wilson completed Stage 9 of his AFF course. Congratulations!
On Tuesday our Tandems were Toogoolawah locals Hailey Anderson and Lea-Jayne Marschke.
It was a quiet Wednesday but Josh Large did another jump towards his B Licence. Some fun jumpers were here and filled the loads.
Thursday was pretty quiet too. Lots of working bee stuff happening in preparation for the Bigways and competitors arriving for training practice for the World Champs.
On Friday things started getting busy. By the afternoon lots of people arrived, registered and settled in. More overseas competitors arrived. The pilots got a bit of a workout. Plus our Tandems were Jana Goedeke, and Marc and Stead Schinkel.
Things were off and running Saturday morning. Sydney’s Supervan arrived. The Bigways got started, competitors were training and along with our regular locals were Daygen Colledge, Dallas and Jemma Taggart here for Tandems. The weather turned a bit grumps in the afternoon but everybody appeared to be happy with the jumps they got.

Sunday morning started with steady, well needed rain. The Bigways took the day off but we ended up getting a few afternoon loads away. The coming week is going to be busy!
