John’s Invitationals (Sat. 9th March)
Morning all, hope everyone is having fun and enjoying life. Well what can we say, 4 jumps that probably weren’t the prettiest to watch but we turned points and everyone had smiles on there faces, we all survived the day, though Karen was licking her wounds after the last landing. Couple of funky exits, maybe the odd hard dock and people chasing grips but to be fair a few of us haven’t jumped since the C17 so a few cobwebs to be cleared out. Anyway check out Dave’s video’s and watch the fun.
Food was, as usual, excellent, as stated many times, only skydive cause I have to do something while the food is cooking, disco Dave had the tunes playing with a wide range of songs, even heard the Andrew Sisters and the old crooner Dean Martin playing (look them up on Google for those who’ve never heard of them).
Next get together is the 13th of April, lucky number for some, so hope to see you then.
Stay safe all, hope it rains and cools down soon. John

The tandemsSunday were Ella Labbett and Nathan Bailey. Daniel Landim Toledo did Stages 2 & 3, Cooper McClymont did Stages 2, 3 & 4 and Chris Lees did Stage 8. Li Pok Man did a refresher with Andy and Sara. Lots of fun jumpers were here. A bit of everything was happening. The weather was good! The week was good as well.
Today I went flying for the first time in a long time, as I had a stroke 3 and a bit years ago. Just wanted say thank u Ramblers for bringing me a great day and a bit of normality back in my life. Again I would like to thank all the people that truly made my day and the special man, that looked after me. It won't be my last time out there. And would recommend this experience to anyone. Again thanks to everybody involved.
