It was a great day, lots of party people here and a wedding proposal on the DZ, er, above the DZ! And the party started!

It was a bit of a quiet weekend, still on Saturday two more tandem jumpers, Nathan Barradas and Tim Keiler were here for their big leap. Bevan Walsh got stuck into it & did AFF Stages 2, 3 & 4. Tim Mingay completed his AFF with Stage 9, well done! The regular jump crew were here along with a few new faces. Plus Costa had a crew of swoopers here utilising the Cessna 182 for hop and pops.

Sunday was a crusie day. A few of our regular staff actually had a day off. Not Bevan Walsh though, Bevan did AFF 5, 6 & 7. Or the swoopers. Or the novices. Or the regulars and other fun jumpers! It was a great weekend start to 2019.

We spent eight days at Skydive Ramblers and had great time. Awesome DZ, awesome friendly staff, great airplane and facilities. Accommodation on premises was great and very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed after jumping socialising at the bar on DZ and great food both at DZ and in nearby Toogoolawah town. Skydive Ramblers are wingsuit friendly and there is plenty of landing space around DZ.
Highlight of our trip was incredible kangaroo action at landing area - we did literally land on kangaroos and it was great fun :-) There are also wild koalas in the area.
