Ramblers Weekly Wrap-Up

✈️ Drop Zone Action

Another skydiving week was upon us! We welcomed our newest students SashaTiare and Megha, who all successfully completed their ground training.

Mid-week brought a bit of a weather hold, with low clouds keeping us grounded—but as the weekend rolled in, so did the blue skies, and the jumpers were back in action.

🏁 First Jump Course

Welcome to the skies, Tiare and Megha! Your skydiving journey has officially begun!

⭐ Ongoing Students & Novices

Tiare and Megha both completed AFF Stages 2 & 3, and Changeui wrapped up AFF Stage 9, officially completing the course! Congratulations! And Nicholas checked off his B-Rel Stage 6, continuing his progression toward licence goals.

🪂 Tandems

Big cheers to our latest Tandem adventurers: Adam, Callie, Monica (Nyandeng), Rebecca, Leonardo, Patrick, and Gabriel—you legends brought the stoke to the skies!

☀️ Weekend Fun

Saturday and Sunday we had Freefly Crests with Jacob Mulder happening, how good to see the progression of our experienced fun jumpers! Congratulations to Adam, Liam, and Denzel for achieving their Freefly Crests!

„I came up with the concept of this event a few years ago with the idea being to allow people to have structured and guided jumps with the oversight of a coach to be able to provide the most value to people wanting to get one on one coaching but without the significant costs.

The event was setup to a maximum of 5 participants and one coach with the idea being 3 two ways rotating through the coach throughout the camp. This structure meant that everyone could progress and learn from one another through the collective experience on the camp as well as learning from one another’s debriefs.

The camp was unfortunately faced some weather challenges on the Saturday with a collective group decision to have a late start on Saturday. We were able to manage one jump on the Saturday followed by a team dinner in Toogoolawah along with some planning for Sunday so we could get the most out of the day.

Sunday was a great success, all participants showed great progression with their flying and were all able to achieve their Head Up Crests. Once everyone achieved their Crests the group decided to end the day on a couple of cruisey movement jumps. Overall a fun weekend had by everyone and able to achieve some great milestones.

Thankyou again to SQPC for supporting the event and making events like these possible.“

Jacob Mulder.

Cheers to everyone who made it out, helped out, jumped in, or just brought the good vibes. Here’s to blue skies ahead…

Catch you in freefall,

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Monica (Nyandeng): An unreal experience! The staff, atmosphere and jump itself made this such an amazing, unforgettable experience. Something so daunting made absolutely fun and safe with this crew. Would definitely come back! 🙂 Ash was an amazing instructor!

I’ve already recommended you to a few of my friends who may seek to jump soon too! You’ve definitely lived up to the expectations, and the footage was awesome! Thanks so much!”

Today I went flying for the first time in a long time, as I had a stroke 3 and a bit years ago. Just wanted say thank u Ramblers for bringing me a great day and a bit of normality back in my life. Again I would like to thank all the people that truly made my day and the special man, that looked after me. It won't be my last time out there. And would recommend this experience to anyone. Again thanks to everybody involved.
