Another beautiful week for some fun and exciting skydiving. Bit of a quiet week after all the previous events that have been run here at Ramblers…
Henry returned and completed his refresher course and jump. Big shout out to Carlos, and Patrick who continued their AFF courses this week – Patrick completed Stage 4, and Carlos did his Stage 3. B-Rel jumps were done by Herny, Dani, Mitch (x2), and Charleen. Our Tandem for the week was Alan. Big congrats to all who took the leap!
Vertical Descent 5was on during the weekend, the event was aimed towards intermediate Head Up free flyers, run my Matt Thomas. Check out the fun jumpers photos in our gallery below, and watch out for their video.

VD5 – Vertical Descent 5
“Vertical Descent 5 was held at Skydive Ramblers last weekend on November 2 & 3. This was our very first intermediate Static Head Up event consisting of 3 groups.
The weather was not nice to us for the first few hours on day 1 but we got started around lunchtime and did not stop until the end of day 2. Coaches Matt, Jacob and Luke took 11 participants to the sky and Safe, Fun, Progressive jumps were had by all and we saw some epic progression! Most participants completed 9 jumps over the 2 days and went home with lots of knowledge about all aspects of Head Up formation flying.
Special thanks to all of the participants and coaches, Skydive Ramblers and all of the team, SQPC and TSC for their continued support! It would not be possible without you all!”
I'm a new jumper and it was heaven on earth for me!
You always get to $14000 feet and you are surrounded by fun jumpers with crazy skill keen to teach.
If you haven't been go!! To say I love it is an understatement. I'll be back very soon!!
