Achievements & Congratulations

⭐️ Hoff – 500 Jumps Milestone

Drop Zone Action

Another skydiving week is upon us and the weather was mint for the most of it. Ruben, Kieran and Ross completed a refresher course during the week and are now back in the sky doing what they love, so say G’day to them if you seen them. It was a good turn out for our newest First Jump Course students with everyone getting into the sky for AFF Stage 1. Another 2 refresher jumpers Jason and Ash joined the class but were unable to jump due to the winds.

The weekend saw Nexus Flight – canopy flocking event being run at Ramblers. The weather was not the best conditions over the event as the southerly winds kicked in, BUT the group preserved and still managed to get 6 flocking loads in. Keep an eye out for the video and photos.

Big welcome to David, Alberto, Emily, Cade and Kalab our newest students. B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Andrew (x2), Ruben (x2), Charleen, Ross, Travis, Jamie and Kieran.

And a big Welcome to the Skies to Alina, Belinda, Leigh, Maddison, Ken, Karl, Harman, Tracey, Cody, Stuart, Nikki, Jiang and Suiling, who did Tandem jumps. Congratulations to all!

Need a jump buddy?

And if you have finished your training and you are looking for someone to jump with, let manifest know and they will put you in contact with our Load Energiser, who will match you up with a jump buddy. No charge. All you pay for is your own jump slot.

Nexus Flight

A Memorable Weekend Flocking at Skydive Ramblers

Nexus was excited to run our ‘lets flock shit up’ event at Ramblers Skydive Centre and she was one for the books! With spirits high, canopy pilots from all levels gathered for a weekend of intensive learning, thrilling jumps, and community bonding. The event was made possible thanks to the combined efforts of the (SQPC) and the Australian Parachute Federations (FI) Fund. We also owe immense gratitude to the incredible staff and instructors at Skydive Ramblers, who went above and beyond to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all.

Fast-Track Progression

One of the most exciting aspects of the weekend was the solid progression made by so many jumpers in a short number of jumps. The tailored coaching and supportive atmosphere enabled rapid growth. provided invaluable feedback after each jump, ensuring that everyone walked away with improved skills.

Seminars and Learning Opportunities

In addition to the flocking jumps we were treated to a series of informative seminars that covered essential topics for both newer jumpers and seasoned athletes.

  • Canopy Progression Seminar: For those looking to fine-tune their high performance landings and enhance their canopy control, this seminar was a standout. The instructors provided clear guidance on how to transition safely through different canopy sizes and planforms, focusing on improving safety and decision making.
  • Coaching Pathways: As the sport grows, so does the need for quality instructors and coaches. A dedicated seminar explored the available coaching pathways, outlining the steps to becoming a certified coach and providing advice on how to guide others through their own progression.
A Big Thanks to SQPC, APF FI Fund, and Ramblers Team

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the SQPC and the APF FI Fund for their generous support in making this event possible. Without their contribution, many of the participants would not have had the opportunity to experience the intensive coaching and learning environment that helped them progress so quickly. Their commitment to growing the sport and supporting future instructors is invaluable.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the staff and instructors at Skydive Ramblers. From organizing the event to ensuring each skydive went smoothly, their passion for the sport and commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all was evident in every aspect of the weekend. Their professionalism, expertise, and enthusiasm truly made the event a success.

Final Thoughts

The weekend flocking at Ramblers Skydive Center was not only a thrilling experience but also a highly educational one. The combination of seminars, personalized coaching, and a welcoming community made it the perfect event for anyone looking to take their skills to the next level. Whether you’re a novice skydiver or an experienced jumper looking to improve your high-performance canopy piloting, events like this are essential for growth in the sport. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Once again, thank you to SQPC, APF FI Fund, and the entire team at Skydive Ramblers for making this weekend one to remember. See you in the skies!

See ya,

Macca and Team Ramblers.

Hey guys,
Thanks for running the Learning Curve Camp last week! It was run to your usual high standard and was a very beneficial experience, especially given my lack of currency after the main COVID closures. I thoroughly enjoy attending these weeks and really appreciate the time dedicated by the whole team at Ramblers, including the instructors, manifest, cafe team, aviation crew/pilots, and support staff. You are all legends and I look forward to coming out again in the near future.
Cheers, Adam.
