The beginning of the week we saw our new First jump Course student Michael start his skydiving licence. We then sat around for a couple of days watching the weather. Its rained for most of the week. Oh boy the weather has been unpredictable this year…
On the weekend, we had lots of students and fun jumpers, plus a Tandem. And we had a big turn out for the First Jump Course with Jason and Alistair starting their AFF course and Daniel, Kristy and Jilly doing a refresher course. Student Jared returned and completed his AFF. And we welcomed our new AFF student Michael to the skies. B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Zac, Chase and Dakota. And Lyn did a Tandem jump. Congratulations to all!
Tish ran a couple of Star Crest loads, sponsored by the TSC and SQPC. Thanks to Steve Fitchett for the great photos! The winds did pickup throughout the day which saw us keeping our feet on the ground for a few hours. Fingers crossed we have awesome weather next week.
“Another amazing weekend learning in the sky! Congratulations Matthew Mckenzie for completing his last two Star Crests. Elle Westaway-Heaven, Greg Blanchard for completing one stage. Thank you to Jye Millwright and Scotty Morley and all the experienced jumpers for showing up and helping out.
As always these days aren’t possible without the amazing support of SQPC, TSC and Skydive Ramblers. Thank you for the continued support. Thank you to our amazing camera man Steve Fitch!”
Hey guys,
Thanks for running the Learning Curve Camp last week! It was run to your usual high standard and was a very beneficial experience, especially given my lack of currency after the main COVID closures. I thoroughly enjoy attending these weeks and really appreciate the time dedicated by the whole team at Ramblers, including the instructors, manifest, cafe team, aviation crew/pilots, and support staff. You are all legends and I look forward to coming out again in the near future.
Cheers, Adam.
