Another great week was had. Blue skies and it was quite a warm week too. Students Mitch and Eduardo finished their AFF course and left with an A licence, good work boys!
New AFF Students Morgan, Baptiste, Quentin, Frazer, Ilyes and Matthew. Continuing AFF students were Margot and Jeremy. And B-Rel Coach Jumps were done by Adam (x3), Morgan (x3), Josh (x3), Yolanda, and Matthew.
Tandem jumps were done by Shelley, Juliana, Jake, Jack, Jessica, John and Kayleen. Congratulations!
On the weekend we had ‘Vertical Decent’ freefly training camp on organised by Maddog which had a great turn out of fun jumpers despite the windy conditions on Sunday.
And next Saturday the 13th of July it’s the WORLD SKYDIVING DAY RECORD! You can be part of it, all types of jumps are counted, so come out and do a Tandem Skydive or a fun jump. The APF will be submitting proof of jumps made that day on your behalf.
Vertical Descent 2
“Vertical Descent 2 was held at Skydive Ramblers on June 29 & 30. This was a Head Down event with a mixture of beginner and intermediate flyers. The forecast did not look promising but the freefly gods gave us jumpable weather all weekend with all
participants completing 8 or 9 jumps.
Coaches Matt, Dave and Wade took 13 participants in 3 groups to the sky and Safe, Fun, Progressive jumps were had by all. The static freefly scene is building nicely and we can’t wait for the next one! Special thanks to Skydive Ramblers and all of the team, SQPC and TSC for their continued support.”
