Drop Zone Action

Hey there Skyfam. Another great week for jumping, a little slower this week (Im guessing because its getting colder). The brave jumpers took to the skies and great jumps were had. Check out the Photos below. Big congratulations to Emily and Ryan for obtaining their Certificate C licence. Our week day pilot Nick took to the skies again for another Tandem jump (next time you’ll be going solo!).

A slow start to the weekend but as it warmed up more jumpers arrived. There was lots of fun jumping being done, Angles, Wing Suiters, coaching at all levels, and the Rel workers got a successful Star Crest jump done. Both fire’s were lit inside and out Saturday night as our fellow jumpers and students enjoyed the stories around the campfire!

New students for the week were Nathan, Chiu-Hsiao, Bence and Margot. Our ongoing students for the week were Scott, Mitchell and Jordan, who continued through their AFF Courses. Certificate B training B-Rel jumps were done by Alex (x3), Nick (x3),  Scott, Nic, Dany, Clemence and Kris. And we welcomed our newest Tandem skydivers Bernadette, Oliver, Aurelia, Matthew and Alexander – big High-Fives, we look forward to seeing you coming back for more. Special Congratulations to Ryan for this 100th jump.

See ya,

Macca and Team Ramblers.

We spent eight days at Skydive Ramblers and had great time. Awesome DZ, awesome friendly staff, great airplane and facilities. Accommodation on premises was great and very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed after jumping socialising at the bar on DZ and great food both at DZ and in nearby Toogoolawah town. Skydive Ramblers are wingsuit friendly and there is plenty of landing space around DZ.
Highlight of our trip was incredible kangaroo action at landing area - we did literally land on kangaroos and it was great fun :-) There are also wild koalas in the area.
