Monday 16th January – was overcast and drizzly.
On Tuesday 4 fun jumpers got 1 load done. AFF student Johan did Stage 9 – completing his AFF Course – Congratulations! 🎉
Wednesday we had 18 fun jumpers here and 3 loads got off the ground. New AFF students Olivia did TAFF Stage 1, Morgan did Stages 5 & 6; and Michael did Stage 9 – completing his AFF Course – Congratulations! 🎉 A B-Rel Coach jump was done by Oskars.
Thursday – 20 fun jumpers got 4 loads done. Ethan did a Tandem. New AFF students Olivia did Stages 2, 3 & 4, Ross did Stages 5 & 6, and Morgan did Stages 7, 8 & 9 – completing his AFF Course – Congratulations! 🎉 2 B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Johan and Francisco.
On Friday 20th jumping was cancelled due to bad weather.
Saturday 21st – there were 70 fun jumpers over 15 loads. Our Tandems today were Andrew, Tarryn, Aizach, Alyvia, Bridie, Keegan, Zachary, Halle, Luke and Sarah. AFF students Olivia did Stages 5, 6 & 7, and Darcy did Stages 6, 7, 8 & 9 – completing his AFF Course. Congratulations! 🎉 2 B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Michael and Felipe.
Chris and Dawn organised the Belly Bash jumps.
Belly Bash (21st January)
“Big shout out to all 22 of you bloody legends who attended the first Belly Bash of 2023! We had an absolute belter watching you building formations, shredding hurdle relays, and spinning blocks – you all smashed it! Huge thanks to all our sponsors who make this event possible – Australian Parachute Federation, Skydive Ramblers, Toogoolawah Skydivers Club Inc, South Queensland Parachute Council, Mee Loft, our amazing camera fliers – Michael Young and Alan Roach, and Beatrice Argenti and Alex Lay for the pack jobs! Oh, and probably should say thanks to Ben Nordkamp for heading-up the rescue mission to bring 9 of us back from various paddocks!”

Sunday 22nd – there were 56 fun jumpers over 10 loads. A Tandem was done by Yianni. New AFF students Thomas and Jacky did Stage 1 TAFF and Olivia did Stage 8 & 9 – completing her AFF Course. Congratulations! 🎉 A B-Rel Coach jumps were done by Giovanni.

This was my first time, with Ty as my instructor. It was totally amazing experience and Ty was impressive as an instructor. He checked in all the time from start to finish making you feel safe and reassured. Free falling was the best experience and highlight of the jump. Thank you to the whole team . Definitely will be back. Loved it.
