Wednesday and Thursday were quiet. No skydiving. Oh well, the instructors took a breather.
Friday dawned bright and jumpable. More Competitors arrived early in preparation for the National Skydiving Champs. So did new students Ross Nihill and Kieran McKenzie who commenced Stage 1 of the AFF Courses, Airi Kawazawa did Stages 2, 3 & 4 and Jade Grobler did Stages 8 & 9 – completing of her AFF Course.
Another new jumper also arrived. Aaron Campbell did Stage 1 of his AFF Course. Kieran and Ross were still here and did Stages 2, 3 & 4 of their AFF Courses. Dawn Adams and Thiago Giraldi returned for Refreshers.
Both DZ Cessna Caravan aircraft were going flat out with the Nationals. So was our CI Ben Nordkamp: Meet Director, DZ National’s Dubber, team video man and TV Star! Must be a carton there somewhere??

Hey guys,
Thanks for running the Learning Curve Camp last week! It was run to your usual high standard and was a very beneficial experience, especially given my lack of currency after the main COVID closures. I thoroughly enjoy attending these weeks and really appreciate the time dedicated by the whole team at Ramblers, including the instructors, manifest, cafe team, aviation crew/pilots, and support staff. You are all legends and I look forward to coming out again in the near future.
Cheers, Adam.
