Monday 1st July Another week was upon us. Blue skies and light winds made for a very good day of jumping. Glenn Dudley and Jesse Jones did jumps towards their licences. Todd Dowsley and Chris Lees worked towards their accuracy jumps. Resident coach Matt Drew took Jess thru his B-Rel Stage 4. There were 8 full caravan loads for the day. (I told you so, see last Newsletter!)
Tuesday 2nd Once the fog lifted it turned out to be a great day. Our newest skydiver Adam Dovick spent the day in the classroom with instructor Sara and completed Stage 1 in the afternoon. New Jumper Keith McPherson dropped in for a few jumps today, Adrian coached Keith through a few B-Rel Stages.
Wednesday 3rd – Another big day with 6 full Caravan loads took to the skies. There were 5 Tandems – Joanne Eaton, Destiny Harrison, Tania Walker, Lina “Marce” Walker and Tyesen Barker. Congrats to all that took the leap with us. Adam Dovick flew through Stages 2, 3 & 4 of his AFF Course. William Pardoe did a refresher. Tiago completed B-Rel 5 with Shelby and Oli.
Thursday 4th – The winds started picking up today but it was still jumpable. Adam Dovick completed AFF Stages 5 & 6. Todd Worked on his B-Rel jumps with coach Oli. Tiago and Chris worked together and passed their B-Rel Stage 6.
Friday 5thFuntastic Friday was upon us and so were the clouds. Only 4 loads for today due to the weather. Adam Dovick completed AFF Stage 7. Adam also took this opportunity to learn how to pack his own parachute.
Saturday 6th – Once the clouds blew away the blue skies were out, we managed to get 4 loads in before the weather turned again. New skydivers today were Callum Lundon, Steve Simons, Kala Squires and Patrick Gallagher who all did a Tandem, congrats. Adam Dovick did AFF Stages 8 & 9 – completing his Course. Keith also worked on his B-Rel 5 Stages. Mark Graham completed his 100th – Yeow, congrats. Luke Moller spent the day in the classroom with instructor Bill learning how to skydive. Emily, Alex, Jett and Oli got two 4ways in. The Toogoolawah Skydivers Club had its Christmas in July dinner and AGM, with about 50 club members attending. It was a disappointing day but a great night. Ben got to be President again.
Sunday 7th – The weather was a little better today. Our only Tandem for today was Zoe Chu, happy birthday! Luke Moller finally got in the air and completed Stages 1, 2 & 3 of his AFF Course. Fingers are crossed for next weekend; lots of Fun Jumps are planned plus night jumps and night Tandems. The moon should be bright!

Zoe Chu – One of my bucket lists ticked off!! Finally got to do skydiving!! I had an amazing time because I knew Sara is the best! J I’ll def come back!!
As an experienced skydiver, I took my whole family to Ramblers to introduce each of them to a tandem jump. Ramblers is an awesome experience for tandems and for fun jumpers.
