It’s Monday 13th August – Downunder Dynamics (DD5) was in full swing. Mason and his crew of coaches kept the aircraft and fun jumpers going all day. Charles Tey competed AFF 7 & AFF 8. Ian Baker, Mark Dineen and Kyal McAuliffe were our new students for the classroom today, congrats on your TAF1 Boys. Jamie completed B-rel 4. Ruijie-He completed a Tandem Skydive also. 78 people on the day, 23 caravan loads went up.

Tuesday – Another beautiful day in paradise, blue skies and no winds. More people turned up for DD5. Mark Dineen continued through his AFF 2, 3 and 4. Josh Aston completed AFF 2 & 3 also. Another 2 new students arrived today to get in on the fun that skydiving has to offer, both Clarence Jean and Valerie Chia started their Addiction AFF package course today, congrats on your TAF1. Jacob Continued his B Licence. There were 26 loads today with a total of 376 skydives done…well done to all, was a great day.

Wednesday – Another big day ahead of us, we had 82 skydivers joining us in fun today. The 5 Tandems for the day were Danielle Cowan, Ashlee Harbourd, sisters Emily and Sarah Ripps and Kellie Griffen.

Mark Dineen smashed out another 2 skydives towards his licence AFF 5 & 6. Charles Tey continued working on his accuracy landings. Both Clarence Jean and Valerie Chia completed AFF 2, 3, and 4. The DD5 crew were still running hard.

Thursday – After the all the great weather early in the week, the 2nd half is looking a bit windy. Today the westerly winds put us on hold for a little bit, but we still managed 9 caravans loads. Both Mark and Clarence Jean managed to get 1 jump in before the winds started.

Friday – Forecast was looking windy… so it was wheels up 0800, 10 loads done before lunchtime. 17 loads all day! Mark worked on AFF 7 & 8, Clarence Jean AFF 4 & 5, Valerie Chia AFF 5 and Charles AFF 9. Congratulations!

Saturday – What a day! Students, Tandems, Starcrests, and the DD5 crew’s last day. Tandems for the day were Phylia Van Mildert and Larissa Farnham. Clarence Jean AFF 5 & 6, Skye Marsh AFF 8, Cory Cassell AFF 6 and 2 new students for the day were father and son Jacob and Michael Howkins. Shout out to our Instructor Adrian ‘Happy 30th Birthday’.

Star Crest Saturday

We had great support with experienced jumpers coming to help. We had enough for two groups. Thanks to all the experienced jumpers that came to help. Especially Martin for running the second group. Congratulations Janine on completing her last Star Crest, Kat completed her first two. Katy, Jared and Blake completed their first starcrest. Thanks you SQPC (South Queensland Parachute Council) and Skydive Ramblers for making this a successful event. Look forward to seeing you all next time.
