Monday the 8th of January was a great start to the week. Costa and the Swoopers were here training for the National Championships and they hammered in 10 jumps each!  Jason O’Shea was also here and hammered out Stages 5, 6 & 7 of his AFF Course. Angela managed another B-Rel. There were 14 skydivers here. Homer and Charlie were kept busy.

Tuesday was sort of the same.  The swoopers were still here and started jumping at 6.00am!! Well done. Jason carried on and did Stages 8 & 9 – completing his AFF, congratulations.

Wednesday was a bit quieter. Madelon Stapel came for her first tandem. Taison got a B-Rel in.

And our pool got a new facelift!

Thursday was much the same, just a little busier. Rhiannon Martin-Cox did a tandem. There was enough regulars for a caravan load again. The 182 was busy.

Friday was busier again. It was a 182 day with one Caravan load. Nathan Cagney did Stage 9 and completed his AFF. Another Congratulations!

Our two tandems on Saturday were Jess Gentle and Tyler Young.  Our newest student Keith Gardiner did Stage 1 of his AFF Course. Dylan Bryer was back did Stage 7.

Jim Czerwinski got Star Crest loads going. There were over 30 fun jumpers here putting up with the hot temperatures and the north westerly winds. Well done, especially the Star Cresters.


Sunday was blown away with hot dry winds. The bar opened early and the new pool got a work out.

I have been to Toogoolawah for 3 tandem jumps so far. I am trying to make it a yearly event. I love the atmosphere out there in the bush, with the kangaroos around.
