Photos Missed From Last Week:
Here we go again, the Story continues. Newsletter 308, starting from Monday 11th December, our last one before Christmas. A half a dozen fun jumpers were here. Emilo Martinez was back. Sam Neild and Andrew Scott were still here and continued on from their Wind Tunnel AFF Courses. We did two Caravan loads, there would have been maybe a couple more but the weather was a bit low cloudish.
On Tuesday the fun jumper number swelled a little and we went up for a few loads.
Wednesday was a Cessna 182 day. James Smeath did a couple of B Certificate training jumps. Chase Andrews tried a B-Rel.
Things were getting livelier Thursday. We did six loads, one a Caravan. Ellery Miles did Stage 6 of his AFF Course and Ben Galvin did Stages 7. Mr Woo’s Crew arrived again from Korea in the afternoon.
Friday was like a weekend day. There were about 17 fun jumpers here and with our students Aidan Everingham, Tim Nord, along with the Korean students Jae Seung Jo, Jun Young Kim and Yong Ho Jung we all did few jumps each.
Saturday was huge. We only had one tandem, Amanda Cavanagh and she had a ball at sunset.
Student Lyle Douglas did his Stage 2, what a jump! The other students Andrew Dickie, Dave Oakroot, Young Jun Kim, Yong Woo Jung, and Jae Seung Jo all did a few jumps each.
B-Rels were happening. There was also some freefly coaching happening.
Saturday was also big on flatties jumping, Star Crests and Big Ways. And Hybrids. There were 60 fun jumpers here and there was a lots of jumping action happening at the DZ.
On Sunday the pace slowed, especially after the Toogoolawah Skydivers Club Christmas party – what a beauty it was. Our tandems on the day were Stacey and Finlay Robertson (Mum and Li’l Brother of our very own Angus).
Students Che Pritchard and Ka Lam did Stage 1 of their 15 Jump Packages, welcome aboard! Radion Granenko continued with his Wind Tunnel Course.
Most amazing experience. Staff are all professional, very safety oriented but make the entire time you are there so much fun. First time jumper and we did it at night during their equinox boogie and the atmosphere was brilliant. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience an amazing jump.
