Drop Zone Action
Welcome to our first Learning Curve Camp of 2025. The week started with a good turnout of fun jumpers being a public holiday on the Monday. The rest of the week we kept the plane turning, several loads every day for the week. A lot of people continued through their AFF courses, a few students even completed their course and got their A licences. YaHoo!
B-Rel jumps were also happening with a lot of jumpers competing the B training table. Seminars and landing debrief happened every night with everyone increasing their canopy skills and knowledge.
Wednesday and Thursday Ramblers saw Legends Tex and Alethia come for some jumps (see the write up below).
Over the weekend, the Belly Bash event on Saturday and the TSC Star Crests on Sunday were run. Big thanks to Chris and Dawn for organising the Belly Bash, and thanks to Travis for organising the Star Crests.
A massive shoutout to our First Jump Course students—welcome to the thrilling world of skydiving! Congrats to Siyu for tackling Stages 1–3, and Tingting for nailing Stage 1! You’re officially part of the skydiving crew now!
And a big cheer for our ongoing legends – Sebastian, powering through Stage 2; Daan, leaping ahead with Stages 2–5; and Peter, reaching new heights at Stage 3. Keep smashing it, mates!
Special mention to our Refresher jumpers – Clancy, Blake, and Renee, you’ve all come back with fresh skills and flying colours. Well done!
A round of applause for our B-Rel jumpers, who’ve made leaps and bounds in the sky – Glenn [x6], Clancy [x2], Alistair [x2], HyunJae, Lina, Nick, Steve, and Jared. Your dedication and progress are inspiring!
And last but not least, a huge warm welcome to the skies for our brave Tandem jumpers! Big cheers to Deborah, Olivia, Gizem, Martin, Devon, Chris, Cameron, Emily, Benjamin, Dean, Michael, and Yee Man Eva. You’ve taken the plunge and are officially part of the adrenaline-filled family!
Need a jump buddy?
And if you have finished your training and you are looking for someone to jump with, let manifest know and they will put you in contact with our Load Energiser, who will either jump with you, or match you up with a jump buddy. No charge. All you pay for is your own jump slot.

Angle Camp at Skydive Ramblers (29 & 30 January)
“Skydive Ramblers recently hosted an incredible “Unofficial” Angle Camp, featuring world-class coaches Jesse “Tex” Leos and Alethia Austin, all the way from Skydive Spaceland in Houston, Texas.
The event ran over Wednesday and Thursday, with four groups taking to the sky for six action-packed loads each day. The energy was high, the vibes were electric, and participants enjoyed perfect weather for two days of dynamic flying and progression.
A massive congratulations to Declan on reaching an incredible milestone—his 1,000th skydive on the final jump of the event! What an epic way to wrap things up!
A big thank you to Ben, Macca, Bear, Robin, and Manifest for keeping everything running smoothly, and of course, to Aaron Fels and Alvaro from “The Flying Nachos” for organizing this unforgettable camp.
Looking forward to the next one!”
Aaron.
Belly Bash – Load Organising with Chris & Dawn (1st February)
“Huge thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday for the first BellyBash of 2025!
The forecast was… let’s just say less than ideal, so massive respect to everyone who flipped the weatherman the bird and showed up anyway! Your commitment was rewarded with two epic jumps before conditions got too sketchy to continue!
We tackled some challenging formations with compressed accordions, and everyone absolutely crushed it!
Big shoutout to our super-talented camera legends, Steve Fitch and Michael Young, for capturing the action, and a huge thanks to our sponsors—Skydive Ramblers, TSC, SQPC, and Mee Loft—for their ongoing support.
Attendees: Chris Dodds, Dawn Adams, Emily Hatfield, Martin Klapper, Cat Brown, Greg Maskell, Matt Baker, Adrian Bramwell, Paul Osbourne, Joshua Newbold, Steve Brett, Jeff Johnston, Helen Hilgers, Michael Young, and Steve Fitch.”

TSC STAR CRESTS with Travis McCartin (2nd February)
“This Sundays TSC Star Crests were a huge success! The winds were slightly challenging; however, it was great to see everyone making good decisions and having a remarkable, safe day! We completed three jumps, with three jumpers fulfilling the Star Crest requirements and another getting one signed off.
Congratulations to Mark M., Jason C., and Tytus A. for completing their Star Crest. Well done team!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following:
Matthew Mckenzie, Chris Moore, Joshua Newbold, Paul Osborne for helping out.
Steve Fitchett…..Once again some incredible footage!
One of my all time favorite dropzones in all the world, which is saying something, because I have jumped at hundreds of dropzones. Wonderful people running the place, wonderful people jumping there. Safe operation in every way, and tons of fun!
