Peter Costigan – Cert A John Bucknell – Star Crest
Monday the 9th of October saw Jackson Brockwell powering through Stages 2, 3 & 4 out of the 182 while Thomas Plevnik and Connor O’Neile kept at it.
Tuesday was another 182 day with Jackson smashing out Stages 5, 6 & 7. Another couple of fun jumpers filled the loads.
On Wednesday we had two new skydivers. Melissa Dempsey & Attila Szvekto did their ground training then their AFF 1 jump in the afternoon. Congrats to Jackson who finished Stages 8 & 9. Thomas Plevnik kept at it on his way to his A certificate. More fun jumpers were here and we got Marjorie (the new Caravan) for a load.
Thursday wasn’t the best weather, but Melissa & Attila got Stage 2 done and our newest skydiver Anton Williams did his ground training and Stage 1 jump.
On Friday things were looking better. Fun jumpers started arriving for Charly Rusconi’s canopy course. Melissa cracked Stage 3.
Anton Stage 2 and Attilla did Stages 3 & 4.
Congrats to Troy Hanson for finishing his Stage 9.
Saturday not the best of weather for the Canopy Course, however all eyes were turned to the sky waiting for some blue to shine through. We only managed two loads for the day, but Daniel Hindmarsh, Matt Manderson & Sally Hoare all enjoyed their tandem jumps. So did a few other lucky ones.
Sunday no loads with rain coming down most of the day. Oh well, the rain sure has turned the place green. And our roses are in bloom.
See ya!
Macca.

Today I went flying for the first time in a long time, as I had a stroke 3 and a bit years ago. Just wanted say thank u Ramblers for bringing me a great day and a bit of normality back in my life. Again I would like to thank all the people that truly made my day and the special man, that looked after me. It won't be my last time out there. And would recommend this experience to anyone. Again thanks to everybody involved.
