David Martin – Completed AFF
Molly Culfillar – First Jump at Toogs & First Off DZ landing at Toogs! Oli – 1st tandem chop
Monday 14th June was a quiet start to a fairly quiet week, but not for our newest student David Martin who started his AFF Courseand got Stage 1 done. Welcome to the Sport David. David continued on Tuesday and successfully completed Stages 2 & 3. It was much the same on Wednesday with David powering through Stages 4 & 5. And a similar routine followed on Thursday. David was loving the Cessna 182 and knocked over Stages 6 & 7, and again Stage 8 on Friday. It was early starts all week as the westerly winds were letting us know who is Boss!
Saturday was windy! David Martin was up early for his Stage 9 Hop & Pop – completing his AFF. And lucky he did because that load was IT for the day. And there was a ton of skydivers here chaffing at the bit – but it was not to be.
Sunday was beautiful! Most fun jumpers stayed around, the Bellas were training, skydivers from Jurien Bay were here here, wing suiters were flocking around, our Tandems were Klaeton Sheehan, Robert Haydon, Charlie Sheehan, Ineke Brouwer, Luke Erceg, Judith Hough, Alexander Hough and Tyson Gesier.
And after sitting in the classroom all day Saturday our newest students Matthew Franczak, Jan-Nick Scheen, and Aaron Rainsford did Stages 1, 2, & 3 of the AFF Course and Conor Haines was back for a Refresher. And Oli Morris had his first tandem malfunction! (It didn’t stop though, he was right up there again for another!). Sunday sure made up for the rest of the week.
"Thank you Skydive Ramblers for providing me with an amazing experience. This was my first tandem skydive. All staff are friendly, professional and highly experienced. The environment felt like being apart of family, so thank you again. Highly recommended..I’ll be back again 🙌"
