Monday 19th April. Another Newsletter and another Tandem to start the week, welcome Mitchell Esterhuizen. Welcome also to our newest trainee Jason Turner who did Stage 1 of his AFF Course. Three light loads took to the skies.
On Tuesday we did another three sorties. Jason Turner powered through Stages 2, 3 & 4. Regular jumpers filled to the loads.
Wednesday was a quiet day. Jason Turner did his AFF 5.
Thursday was another quiet 2 load day. Jason Turner was on both and did AFF Stages 6 & 7. Again there were enough regulars to keep the Caravan moving.
Friday was much the same, a bit quiet. We did have three new Tandems arrive. Sharni Jackson, Shani Stephens and Benton Adams-Walker tookto the skies. Othe people started arriving later in the day. Jason Turner did Stage 8 & 9 – completing his course – Congratulations!
Saturday was busy. Lots of fun jumpers arrived. Star Crests were happening, lots of everything going on. Two new students, Allan Kitchener and Maximilian Ambrose started their training and did Stage 1. Damian Wilson and Rufus Oosthrysen did Refreshers. Other students were back for more. Steve Ling, Brandon Haluptzok, and Rieche (Shay) Vrey all did AFF Stages 2 & 3, Jodie Fair did Stages 2, 3 & 4, Clemente Capdevila did Stages 3, 4 & 5, and Jordi Capdevila did Stages 4 & 5. Whew! Busy times! Second Caravan was needed in the afternoon, we did 16 loads.
The ladies jumped in their bras to raise funds for women in need – Support The Girls Australia. “Some times we forget something as simple as a bra isn’t easily accessible or affordable for a lot of women. Here’s to raising donations, awareness and giving back to our community through something we all enjoy and love.” Rosie Dodgson. Thank you to all the Skysisters – Female Skydivers of Australia involved, and to the guys supporting the cause!

It was a busy Sunday, we did 13 full loads. Lots of fun jumpers, lots of students and lots of good weather.
Was anxious-as coming in to start my AFF course, but these guys truly put me at ease. Felt more like joining a members club than just buying a commercial course. Great atmosphere - encouraging staff - awesome experience.....Now I just gotta get back and complete the course!
